The Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation system is complex, always evolving, and favorable to injured workers. Representing the employers and insurance carriers in these matters has been a major practice area at the Fort Washington, Pennsylvania law firm of Timoney Knox, LLP for over 40 years. Therefore, we routinely participate in mediation of settlement conferences with our clients, and prepare settlement proposals and arguments which result in a satisfactory resolution to a claim.
However, we also recognize that working with employers and insurance carriers to prevent claims from becoming problems, keeping claims under control and advising insurance carrier and third party administrator personnel on new developments in the law, and pitfalls which they should avoid is a vital part of the service we provide to our clients.
